The beginning of this rivalry start back in 1997. They were the best of friends and form one of the strongest faction in WWE history, Degeneration X. Back on those days, Shawn Michaels was on his prime. Winning a lot of championship and the young Triple H was there always support. Shawn Michaels extreme way of wrestling finally catch up with him when he injured his back and had to quit WWE for 4 years. Triple H pick up where Shawn Michaels left off and become The Game itself. He become the undisputed champion around WWE. 4 years has past and Shawn Michaels is back for the greatest prize of all, World Heavyweight Championship. He won the match with Triple H for the non title match and quickly become the favorite to win the championship. Triple H refuse to let go his championship swing the sledgehammer to Shawn Michaels injured back and from that day forward he was called, The Cerebial Assassin.
